Reflection and Goal Statement

こんばんは!ぼくのあきやすみはよかった。うちにかえりました、そちてともだちのうちにいきまして。それにまた、Atlantic City にいきました。Borgata Hotel でねました。

In retrospect of my pronunciation exercises these past seven weeks, I feel that I have definitely improved on saying words with double consonants and not stressing particles as much,
Moreover, when I'm watching anime, I constantly listen to the intonation and pitches characters use to convey their messages.  When I'm paying more attention to what I'm actually listening to, I'm learning not only the sounds but also new vocabulary.  As for Japanese Language Tables, I have gone occasionally but definitely not as much as I can and want to go.  I live in Rocky after all, so I have no excuses.  That being said, there are more things that I can improve on and try.  First and foremost, I need to constantly work on my pitch,  Pitch is such an integral part of Japanese language, so mastering it is critical to get better.  What I should do is take advantage of office hours, more speak everywhere exercises, and watch more anime!  Yay for the last one haha.  Second, when I'm studying vocabulary for Japanese, I need to not only understand what the word means but also to think about the pitch of it as well.  Thirdly, I need to use my free time in between classes--whether it's walking from Fine to Holder Hall or playing games--to always be thinking about what I've learned in class and talk Japanese in my head,  This way, my pronunciation will become more natural, smoother, and cleaner.  Well, that's all for now.

じゃあね!
