今年の春休み

今年の春休み私はゆっくりして、友だちとたくさん楽しいことをしましたよ。たとえば、先週の火曜日にニューヨークに買いに行きました。かっこいいシャツを買いました！見て下さい！好きですか。シャツを買って、日本の本やにいきました。名前はきのくにやです。きのくにやのいっかいにはちょっとつまらないですけど、にかいにはたくさんおもしろいマンガとアニメのものがありますよ。でも、あそこで何も買いません。ざんねんですね。そして、毎日友だちと新しいゲームをしました。たのしかったですよ。Super Smash Bros 4 がしりますか。今そのゲームが私の一番好きなゲームです。家にしに行きたいですよ！でも、春休みがおわりましたね。:( かなしいです。じゃあ、みなの春休みはどうでしたか。おもしろいことをしましたか。じゃあ、またね！

PE6 Reflection

Looking back on the first half of the second semester, I can really see how I have improved in speaking Japanese.  I don't find myself constantly thinking in my head (conjugating verbs, remembering vocabulary, etc.), and stuff sometimes just flows out.  That being said, since we are using and learning more and more casual speech, I need to make myself more comfortable with it especially since I will be in Japan in 2 months!  So here are my goals for the end of the year:

1. Go to Forbes and Mathey Language Table as many times as I can!  (I went to Forbes today, and it was really fun!  All you first-year students should come too!)
2. Practice free conversation in casual speech for pronunciation exercises
3. Go to 柴田先生's office hours!
